“Mobilegeddon” Google Announces Mobile Friendly Websites Will Rank Higher in all Searches!!!
As of April 21, 2015, what happens when your website is not optimized for mobile platforms? You will progressively lose your ranking on Google searches to those that are “mobile friendly”. People find themselves at a place where text is too small and the links are tiny. Google has realized that this is frustrating for its search engine customers and has introduced a new “mobile friendly” label.
To meet the mobile friendly criteria, you need to be careful about the following:
Audience should be able to view text on their mobile device (without zooming).
Links should be far enough apart.
Content should be sized to screen so that customers won’t have to scroll horizontally.
Any software which is not usually installed on mobile devices should be avoided (example: flash).
