Mr. Cheong is a senior lean manufacturing and quality assurance management professional with thirty-three years experience in the manufacturing and service industry. Eric has led and championed a variety of projects encompassing planning, policy, capital expansion and plant operations

 

Eric’s front-line, operational experience includes organizing and directing technical and production departments, designing and deploying training programs, and upgrading and maintaining technical and production standards.

 

Mr. Cheong has extensive experience in designing, deploying and certifying Quality Management Systems including Lean and Six Sigma, CSA Z299 and Nuclear Quality Standard, and TS16949/ISO 9001 system auditing.

 

Eric’s many professional designations include (ASQ, American Society for Quality) Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, CQM, CQA, CQE, Certified Quality Manager, Auditor & Engineer, as well as RABQSA Quality Management System Skill Examiner & Lead Auditor and PEO, Professional Engineer & Chartered Engineer in United Kingdom.  Mr. Cheong holds a Bachelor Engineering – Metallurgical Engineering from Queen’s University and a Master in Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
