Digital Nexus was founded by two industry veterans — Rob Strickland, a nationally recognized technology and mobile executive who has led business transformations at T-Mobile, Dish Network, Landmark Communications, Leap Wireless and others and Jeff Symon, founder of AIM, a leading marketing strategy agency who has developed and deployed integrated marketing and customer experience solutions for Sony, HP, NRG, Nestle, Pepsico, Johnson & Johnson and others.

Leanne Strickland-Hill, Consultant is a seasoned executive known for her talents helping companies develop the processes and people ecessary to successfully grow and thrive. Leanne has previously held executive positions at Crosby Benefits Systems where she spent 27 years and at NextIT. Working as an independent consultant and advisor to small technology companies for several years before joining Strickland Consulting, first as a Business Development Consultant and moving on to managing partner, she had the opportunity to help other owners and xecutives achieve their goals. At Digital Nexus, Leanne oversees operations. Leanne is a graduate of Brandeis University.

Scott Cone, Consultant | Marketing & Digital Strategy has over 25 years of media, agency and marketing experience having developed strategy and leading major accounts and account teams. Scott brings an unrivaled passion, is a student of new media & marketing channels, psychology (as it relates to how and why we buy) and a gifted idea generator. Scott’s experience has spanned media companies, energy, health care, packaged goods and consumer electronics. Scott frequently speaks on Content Creation strategies for Digital & Social Media and teaches corporate leadership teams best practices and uses for LinkedIn and other social connecting tools.

Alex Salamon, Consultant | Global Technology, Telecom & Business Development Strategy brings to Digital Nexus over two decades of successful sales, sales leadership and business development experience in the Global Telecommunications and Enterprise markets.  With a background in technology development and implementation, Alex has developed a unique combination of strategic sales and executive management experience.  Driving results through commitment to excellence and perseverance has been Alex’s trademark.

Joe Baeumel, Consultant | Global Technology, Wireless & Business Development Strategy brings 18 years of experience and leadership in the global Telecom, Energy, Utility and Financial verticals in sales and operations with innovative solution software, technology strategies and wireless networks.  As a consultant, Joe has successfully led engagements with global organizations from start-ups to billion dollar corporations in markets ranging from Big Data Analytics, Network Infrastructure and Call Center/Operations software technologies to professional services companies who are all trying to enter or expand in the US and LATAM markets. Joe also has extensive experience in the Asia Pacific market specifically with wireless technical sales.

Prior to holding the CMO position at Cricket Wireless, Julie has held EVP and CMO roles at SUPERVALU, MediaOne (now Comcast), US West (now Verizon) and a variety of Category Director positions for Nestle USA.

Mr. Shield has over over 25 years of technology experience and 17 years as a CIO and CTO in diverse industries. Industry experience includes: digital media, technology, financial services and retail companies. Experience in private, public and non-profit organizations as well as private equity and venture capital backed businesses. His varied roles have provided him with particular skills in leading and building exceptional teams, creating world-class digital products and professionally running the business of technology. Prior to his current role with the Boston Red Sox, Mr. Shield was the CIO for FTD and also The Weather Channel.
